My 48-year-old client just watched his uncle get moved to a nursing home because he couldn't get up from his chair without help.

That's when it clicked for him: The gym isn't about vanity. It's about independence.

Now he deadlifts twice a week. Not to impress anyone. But so he can pick up his grandkids without throwing out his back.

He squats every Monday. Not for Instagram. But so he can get off the toilet when he's 85.

He does cardio three times a week, not for a six-pack. But so he can chase his future grandchildren around the park.

Here's what nobody tells you about exercise:

Squats = Getting up from chairs
Deadlifts = Picking things off the ground
Cardio = Playing with grandkids
Core work = Not falling and breaking a hip

The nursing home industry is a $180 billion business.

You know what keeps you out of it?

A $30/month gym membership and showing up 3 times a week.

My client gets it now. He trains harder at 68 than he did at 38.

Because he finally understands: You're not training for the beach. You're training for life.

Proud to say that even on a beautiful holiday the fit fam showed up. ⚡️🖤 I almost wouldn’t have had enough bikes in the studio to accommodate today’s class had it not been virtual. I believe in this & I’m going to keep going. Join me if you’d like a great workout, an amazing community of spinners who will even welcome you on the chat. I love this so much. More than I ever thought that I could. If you’re too busy for yourself I’ve made this as convenient as I could because my goal is to give people something that they have time for. Thanks again for riding with me & Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

The schedule is up for the week. Labor Day’s class is 9:30am. I’m giving everyone who’s already a customer this class for free. You can either message me & I’ll add you myself or if you book the class yourself I’ll refund you. It’s easier if I add you, but both ways will work. The schedule for the rest of the week are as usual.

I hope everyone had a great Saturday morning ride. Lucky my co-coach was slacking off again & she’s not one bit sorry!
