The Harbour Pointe Bar and Grill is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday. It has an appealing menu with great options for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Monday July 13th we will begin the aeration process on our putting surfaces. On Monday the practice green and holes 1 thru 9 will be closed for the entire day. On Tuesday July 14th holes 1-9 will be open for play at 11:00 am, and holes 10-18 will be closed for the entire day.

This process is critical to keep our putting surfaces in great condition, creating pathways into the root zone for oxygen, nutrients and water, while also alleviating compaction and allowing us to remove organic material and introduce sand into the soil profile. This year we are using 3 different techniques, core aeration where we remove material, slicing to a 1" depth and solid tine aeration to 4" depth. The core aeration will be small holes along with the solid tine aeration and will allow greens to heal and be back to rolling smoothly as quickly as possible. We will top-dress all the greens with sand during the process and top-dress with sand again the following week.
