🍂🥎 FALL SOFTBALL IS ALMOST HERE! 🥎🍂

Fall is right around the corner, and so are our Fall Tournaments! 🎃🔥

We’re excited to get back on the fields this September and October for some softball in the crisp, cool fall air. There’s nothing quite like fall ball…cooler temperatures, competitive games, and plenty of memories to be made! 🍁🥎

Lacie is a big part of the Detroit Prospects family, bringing a powerful bat, a fearless approach, and an outstanding attitude every time she steps on the field. Whether she’s driving the ball at the plate, making big plays in the outfield, or holding down behind the plate, she competes and always puts the team first.

We’re excited to celebrate Lacie as she becomes a teenager and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow both on and off the field this season!

Player Spotlight: Lacie Thiel

Please help us welcome back Lacie Thiel for her 2nd season in a Detroit Prospects jersey! 💙❤️

Lacie brings power, confidence, and a can-do attitude to our lineup every time she steps to the plate. Her big bat made an immediate impact last season, including a home run during a fall bracket play game, showcasing the power and potential she brings to our offense. Lacie’s ability to attack the ball and compete in every at-bat makes her a dangerous addition to any lineup.

Defensively, Lacie continued to grow and make her presence felt. She made some incredible plays in the outfield, likely leading the team in the unofficial “diving grab” category as she tracked down fly balls and made highlight-worthy catches. She also showed tremendous growth behind the plate, continuing to develop into a valuable option for our team.

Lacie’s athleticism extends beyond softball as well. She competes in basketball for her school team, helping them put together an incredible season with only one loss.

We’re excited to see #27 back in a Prospects jersey and can’t wait to watch all the big moments Lacie brings this season.

Player Spotlight: Audrey Poley

Please help us welcome back Audrey Poley for her 4th season in a Detroit Prospects jersey! 💙❤️

An original Prospect, Audrey has been a cornerstone of our program since day one. Over the years, she has grown into one of our team leaders, setting the tone with her work ethic, determination, and commitment to the game.

Defensively, Audrey is a difference-maker. Whether she’s making acrobatic plays behind the plate or locking down first base, she consistently gives our team confidence on defense. Her ability to make tough plays look routine helped place her as our team leaders in putouts last season.

At the plate, Audrey has a knack for finding ways to reach base. She finished among our team leaders in on-base percentage, doubles, and walks, proving that patience, consistency, and a team-first approach can make a huge impact on the game.

Audrey’s athletic talents don’t stop on the softball field. She is also a standout travel volleyball player, continuing to compete at a high level while representing the Prospects with pride.

We’re so excited to have #25 back in the red and blue for another season and can’t wait to see what Audrey accomplishes this year!

Player Spotlight: Nora Ganocy

Please help us welcome back Nora Ganocy to the Detroit Prospects family! 💙❤️

Nora is putting on the Prospects jersey for her third season, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her back. She brings so much versatility to our team, along with a strong softball IQ, speed, and strength. Nora really started to own the circle for us last year, showing confidence and poise in the pitcher’s circle. At the plate, she has already launched 2 no-doubt home runs this season, leading our team in that category and ranking among the leaders in several offensive categories. Defensively, Nora also held down the middle infield at shortstop, showing great range and a strong arm.

But Nora’s story doesn’t stop there. She also plays basketball, volleyball, and softball for her middle school, proving just how talented and dedicated she is as an athlete. Nora and her teams brought home both the CYO Softball Championship and the CYO Basketball Championship, adding even more to an already impressive resume.

We can’t wait to see #24 back on the field this season!
