Key West race week.

Family loaded. Dogs in tow. Team Shorgasm headed south.

We get to race together, see the UBRE crew, and soak up one of the biggest weeks in offshore.

She drives.
I throttle.
We chase checkers.

Key West… see you soon. 🏁🏴‍☠️

KEY WEST SPONSOR SPOTS ARE OPEN. 🏁🏴‍☠️

Team Shorgasm is headed to the Key West World Championship… and we’ve got room for a few businesses that want to ride with us.

And this ain’t just sticking your logo on a boat and hoping somebody sees it.

Your name makes the whole trip.

Detroit - Key West.
Almost 3,000 road miles round trip on the tow rig and camper.

Then Key West…

3 days of World Championship racing.
Race Village and the pits.
Testing days.
Photos and race coverage.
Thousands of fans along the waterfront.

And then the big one…The Duval Street raceboat parade.

Thousands of people lining Duval with the boats crawling right through the middle of them.

Your logo can ride on the race boat, tow rig AND pit camper/trailer, plus we’ll tag and recognize our sponsors throughout the trip, race week, photos and Team Shorgasm posts.

Last year Key West brought 98 race teams from around the country and internationally.

This isn’t just another race.

This is Key West.

The biggest stage offshore racing has.

Nichole and I are going there looking for our first checkered together.

If your business wants to be part of this stupid, awesome pirate adventure, hit me up.

Let’s take your name to Key West. 🏁🏁🏁

Wrapping our way to Key West. 🏁🏴‍☠️

Offshore racing doesn’t pay for itself… shocking, I know.
So we’re putting the old shrinkwrap skills to work.

I’ve been wrapping boats for 33 years.
Before Team Shorgasm heads south for the Key West World Championships, we’re stacking up as many wraps as we can.

Still need yours done?
Here’s the deal:

Book it AND have it completed by October 29th, and get $.25 OFF per square foot.

That helps you get ahead of Michigan winter…

…and helps us keep throwing money into a raceboat like responsible adults.

The dog is helping.
The heat gun is hot.
Key West is calling.

Let’s wrap some boats!!! 🏴‍☠️

Last night was a hard reminder that the season isn’t over yet.

Team Shorgasm loves the speed, the noise, the chaos, and everything that comes with being on the water...

But none of it matters if everybody doesn’t make it home.

Watch the weather.
Pay attention.
Respect the water.
Look out for each other.

Lake St. Clair is still active, and she still deserves respect.

Prayers for everyone affected.

Stay safe out there, boaters.

:UPDATE
THE DAMAGE APPEARED TO BE FROM ANOTHER BOAT, AND THEY HAVE FOUND SAID BOAT!
