The Court Queens wrapped up an exciting doubleheader on Saturday, splitting their two games while continuing to show growth, toughness, and team chemistry. The day opened with a thrilling 28–27 win over the Knee High Ballers, sparked by a dramatic late fourth-quarter push. Nora Gillis led the scoring with 10 points, while Victoria Hall and Layla Suarez each added 6 points in the narrow victory. Victoria delivered in crunch time, first cutting the deficit to one before knocking down the game-winner with just 22 seconds remaining. In game two against the Shooting Stars, the Queens battled hard but came up short 42–23, with Nora adding 9 points, Victoria scoring 8, and milestones from Evie Cameron’s first basket of the season and Aria Deanovich’s first career basket highlighting a resilient team effort from start to finish.

🏀 Court Queens Milestone Alert! 🏀

We’d like to take a moment to recognize a few new milestones reached by our athletes this week! Help us celebrate these young players for the hard work, dedication, and commitment they continue to show every time they step on the court.

Success doesn’t happen overnight, it comes from showing up, learning from mistakes, supporting teammates, and putting in the effort week after week. We are proud of the growth these girls have shown and excited to see what they accomplish next.

The Court Queens made history on Sunday, earning their first win as an all-girls team competing in the coed league at All Star Sports Center, defeating the Knee High Ballers 36-20.

The Queens set the tone with tough defense and relentless rebounding, controlling the game from start to finish. Veda K and Layla S led the offense with 12 points each. Veda was dominant on the glass, pulling down 18 rebounds while adding 4 steals and 2 blocks. Layla added 9 rebounds and 2 steals in another strong all-around effort.

Zoey W contributed 8 points and 7 rebounds, Nora G added 4 points and 6 rebounds, and Claire M chipped in 2 points and 5 rebounds.

As a team, the Court Queens hauled in an incredible 52 rebounds, while also recording 10 steals and 6 blocks. Their hustle, toughness, and teamwork were on full display as they battled against the Ballers and came away with a well-earned victory.

This win means more than just the final score. It marks a milestone for this group as they continue to prove that hard work, determination, and believing in one another can overcome any challenge.

Some of our Court Queens got to celebrate their end-of-year Spring Carnival/Field Day at school and had an absolute blast making memories with friends, playing games, and enjoying the sunshine.

Today, we honor and remember the heroes who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice and courage are the reason we have the opportunity to do what we love, spending time with family, chasing our goals, and playing the games that bring us together.

With the holiday break here and no basketball this weekend, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some milestones & team leaders. 🏀

Success isn’t built overnight. It comes from hard practices, determination, teamwork, and the willingness to keep getting better every single day.

The Court Queens battled hard this afternoon but came up short against the Recess Rebels, falling 36-23 in game four of the spring season. The girls continued to compete from start to finish, showing toughness on both ends of the floor and never backing down against a strong opponent.

Veda Kastris had a record-setting performance, leading the Court Queens with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Her 13 points set a new Court Queens 8U single-game scoring record, while also recording the program’s first ever double-double. She added 2 blocks on the defensive end to cap off an incredible all-around game.

Layla Suarez added 4 points, while Victoria Hall, Claire McKenzie, and Ava Terebesi each chipped in baskets of their own. As a team, the Court Queens pulled down 25 rebounds and continued to battle through all four quarters.

Every game is another opportunity to learn, grow, and improve together, and this group continues to do exactly that. Proud of the fight and heart these girls show every time they step on the court. 💚🏀

🏀 Game Day for the Court Queens! 🏀

We’re tipping off Game 4 of our spring season today as we take on the Recess Rebels for the second time this season. The girls have been putting in the work and are ready to compete again this afternoon!

Court Queens dropped a hard-fought game to the Recess Rebels by a final score of 38-20 on Saturday.

Despite the result, the Queens continued to compete and showed great effort from start to finish. Veda led the offensive attack with 8 points, while Victoria added 6 points and 3 rebounds. Nora earned Court Queen honors after finishing with 4 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block while making an impact all over the floor. Claire led the defensive effort with 3 steals.

The Court Queens continue to grow each week, and the teamwork, hustle, and determination this group shows never goes unnoticed. Back to work as the Queens prepare for the next matchup. 👑🏀
