The regular season has officially come to an end, and what a spring it has been! These girls showed incredible growth, determination, and heart every time they stepped on the court. From first-time scorers to lockdown defenders, hustle plays to team-first moments, this group has continued to raise the standard of what it means to be a Court Queen.

Now, our focus shifts to the postseason.

Before we tip off the playoffs, we’re taking a moment to recognize the players who made this spring season so special. We’re highlighting each of our Court Queens and celebrating their contributions, growth, and memorable moments from the regular season.

Court Queens Season Finale Recap

The Court Queens wrapped up their spring season on Saturday, falling to the Cougar Cubs 40-20. Despite the final score, the Queens battled from start to finish against a tough opponent and continued to show the growth and determination that has defined their season. The team created plenty of scoring opportunities, putting up 44 field goal attempts while never backing down defensively.

Zoey Wright led the offensive attack with 8 points, while Veda Kastris added 6 points and pulled down a team-high 7 rebounds. Nora Gillis chipped in 4 points and 4 rebounds, and Izzy Delisi added 2 points for her first career basket! Layla Suarez filled the stat sheet with 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 blocks, helping spark the team on both ends of the floor.

Defensively, the Queens recorded 5 blocks, including strong defensive efforts from Victoria Hall, Claire McKenzie, and Layla Suarez.

While the regular season ended with a loss, these young athletes have made tremendous strides from the first practice to the final buzzer. Their confidence, teamwork, and basketball IQ improved each week, and they have plenty to be proud of. The future is bright for the Court Queens, and we’re excited to compete in league playoffs next week! 👑🏀🖤💛

Join us today at noon as the Court Queens take on the Cougar Cubs in the final game of our spring season!

This group has shown tremendous growth over the last few months, improving every week and earning the opportunity to compete in their first postseason tournament next week. Their hard work, determination, and commitment to getting better have been incredible to watch.

Let’s pack the gym, cheer them on, and help these girls finish the spring season strong!

The Court Queens wrapped up an exciting doubleheader on Saturday, splitting their two games while continuing to show growth, toughness, and team chemistry. The day opened with a thrilling 28–27 win over the Knee High Ballers, sparked by a dramatic late fourth-quarter push. Nora Gillis led the scoring with 10 points, while Victoria Hall and Layla Suarez each added 6 points in the narrow victory. Victoria delivered in crunch time, first cutting the deficit to one before knocking down the game-winner with just 22 seconds remaining. In game two against the Shooting Stars, the Queens battled hard but came up short 42–23, with Nora adding 9 points, Victoria scoring 8, and milestones from Evie Cameron’s first basket of the season and Aria Deanovich’s first career basket highlighting a resilient team effort from start to finish.

🏀 Court Queens Milestone Alert! 🏀

We’d like to take a moment to recognize a few new milestones reached by our athletes this week! Help us celebrate these young players for the hard work, dedication, and commitment they continue to show every time they step on the court.

Success doesn’t happen overnight, it comes from showing up, learning from mistakes, supporting teammates, and putting in the effort week after week. We are proud of the growth these girls have shown and excited to see what they accomplish next.

The Court Queens made history on Sunday, earning their first win as an all-girls team competing in the coed league at All Star Sports Center, defeating the Knee High Ballers 36-20.

The Queens set the tone with tough defense and relentless rebounding, controlling the game from start to finish. Veda K and Layla S led the offense with 12 points each. Veda was dominant on the glass, pulling down 18 rebounds while adding 4 steals and 2 blocks. Layla added 9 rebounds and 2 steals in another strong all-around effort.

Zoey W contributed 8 points and 7 rebounds, Nora G added 4 points and 6 rebounds, and Claire M chipped in 2 points and 5 rebounds.

As a team, the Court Queens hauled in an incredible 52 rebounds, while also recording 10 steals and 6 blocks. Their hustle, toughness, and teamwork were on full display as they battled against the Ballers and came away with a well-earned victory.

This win means more than just the final score. It marks a milestone for this group as they continue to prove that hard work, determination, and believing in one another can overcome any challenge.

School’s almost out and the smiles say it all! ☀️🎉

Some of our Court Queens got to celebrate their end-of-year Spring Carnival/Field Day at school and had an absolute blast making memories with friends, playing games, and enjoying the sunshine.

With the holiday break here and no basketball this weekend, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some milestones & team leaders. 🏀
