POOL ANNOUNCEMENTS: First, we are now officially in our post-summer break season, which means we’re only open for open swim on Saturdays & Sundays. Today we are open 2-6 pm, but we are typically open 2-7 pm Saturday & Sunday through Labor Day. We HOPE to open on the weekends through October, but that’s dependent on our lifeguards’ availability. Keep checking our page for updates!
Second, for those unaware, the City of Needville announced that they have upgraded and made improvements to the city’s water distribution system. The city also warned that we may notice a discoloration of the water, and it’s expected to last approximately 2 weeks. We are, indeed, experiencing said water discoloration in abundance at the pool as of this morning when our lifeguards turned the water on to replenish normal evaporation. The water is completely safe l, just unsightly. We turned it off for now and will refill the water during our closed hours to maintain visibility of the pool water. We’ll be working hard to rectify the discoloration during the week while we’re closed, but we definitely wanted to keep our patrons up to date on this current situation. ❤️
