Needville Little League’s 9U All-Star team poses with the championship banner after winning the 2026 Texas East 9U Sectional Tournament.

Needville represented District 36 throughout the sectional tournament and finished its run by earning the championship Thursday night.

Congratulations to the players, coaches and families on bringing home the sectional title. Take a look through the team photos and help us celebrate the Texas East 9U Sectional champions.

🏆 DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Congratulations to the Needville 11U All-Stars on winning the 2026 Texas East District 36 9-10-11 Baseball championship!

Needville completed an undefeated run through the district tournament, earning victories over Alvin, Rosenberg National, Brazoswood and Lamar before securing the title with a 7-4 championship-game win.

Congratulations to all the players, coaches and families on an outstanding tournament. Best of luck to Needville as the team advances to the next round!

The road to the sectional championship continues Tuesday night at The Diamonds at Daily Park as Pearland and New Braunfels meet in an elimination game.

The winner will advance to face undefeated Needville in the sectional championship round.
