Worth asking before you build the winter membership shelf: what is "unlimited" actually selling?
In last winter's class data, among unlimited members who used the plan at all, the median registered for 1.0 classes a week. The member on a 2x-a-week plan registered 1.3 times. At the typical facility only 17% of unlimited users went past two.
Unlimited sells the option. Most families never exercise it. Which is why the second class per week is the expensive step on the ladder.
Where does your ladder start, and does anyone actually buy the top of it?
