Online registration is now open for the New England Region SCCA Paddock Crawl! The second event in the New England Road Racing Championship’s (NERRC #2) at Rock Park is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 12-13, 2026.

Join us for this exciting race weekend at one of the nation’s oldest continually-operating road racing circuits. This Connecticut track, owned by well-known pro racer Skip Barber, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It’s certainly a “bucket list” track for every active road racer.

Amateur photographer James Ray was at New Hampshire Motor Speedway recently taking pictures for the New England Region SCCA’s NERRC #1 Opening Weekend and SCDA1.com Club Racing Experience (CRE) event.

In Group 6 races a couple of curious oops happened! In the first one #94 Miata missed the hard right turn onto the NASCAR track behind the pace car at start. In the second oops the #198 Miata struck the concrete behind tire barrier at T3.

One oops meant driver started racing from the rear, and second oops meant driver’s race ended. We’re guessing the first oops was self-inflicted, less sure about what happened in the second oops.
