What a day! So proud of everyone who stepped on the mats yesterday and put it all on the line. Win or lose, you showed courage, competed hard, and left it all on the mat!

As a coach, I’ll always take 100% responsibility for our students’ losses. But I’ll never take credit for their wins.

Those wins belong to them. The hours of training, the discipline, the nerves, the adjustments, and the decision to keep fighting when things got tough — that’s all them.

We also want to thank those that weren’t competing but came out to support your teammates yesterday! The love and support from you folks mean more to us than you guys know!

Thank you to Mat Prescriptions for keeping our mats clean and our students safe! We clean the mats daily after every training session with products meant to kill all of the bacteria etc. associated with any combat sport but an annual deep clean is necessary to make sure our students are well protected.

Because of our proper cleaning routine, Dan expressed to us that the water coming out of the machine is a lot cleaner than what he’s usually seen! Thank you to all of our students that trust us with your jiu jitsu journey, as well as your safety, and we hope to be able to keep serving you in the best way we know how!

What an incredible experience bringing our team all the way to Las Vegas for Jiu Jitsu Con!

We’re incredibly grateful for every student, parent, and supporter who helped make this trip possible. Watching our team step onto the mats, compete with heart, encourage one another, and create lasting memories was truly unforgettable.

The medals are special, but the friendships, growth, confidence and memories we’re building together mean even more.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who stepped out there. We always tell our own kids no risk, no story… choosing to put it all on the line takes courage, and every competitor performed and showed what it means to represent Core Jiu Jitsu! Praise God for the amazing memories that we made this week, but we know this is only the beginning 🤙
