One of the best guard passing concepts I ever learned came from Pedro Sauer’s “Dirty Feet” drill almost two decades ago, and I still use it today because of how simple and effective it is.
The first layer of any guard is the feet—whether they’re hooking, framing, or pushing. Address the feet first, then control the knees, and finally cover the hips.
Passing gets a lot easier when you simplify it and start peeling back the layers in the right order ✅✅✅
