August Meeting
Winterizing and Fall Feeding
PLUS - an overview of a honey bee research project
that is taking place on NMU's campus
Save the date! Thursday, August 18th, 6:30 p.m. at NMU. This will be an outdoor meeting, featuring the following:
Overview of a research project that involves honey bees and medicinal plant chemistry;
Demonstration of hive winterizing options;
Fall feeding.

If you haven't tested your hives for mites, don't delay!!!
This is the time of year when mite populations WILL increase and CAN explode. Testing for mites is not something that is "nice to do".
As beekeepers, it is our responsibility to keep our colonies healthy!
