Did you know we have a Pay It Forward board?

For the college student who broke their pedal off on the way to class and
"doesn't get paid until Friday".

For the neighborhood kid who snapped their chain while riding around with their friends and "has no money".

For the elderly couple that popped their tire while "trying to feel young again".

For the everyday commuter that has no other means of transportation and has to "choose between groceries or fixing their bike".

These are all real life examples from the shop where Pay It Forwards have been a blessing.

Excited to announce this collaboration LADIES ONLY event with Brittany Wiggins Fitness & Morning Glory Farm !

Saturday, September 19th from 8 am - 10 am

1. Starts at Brittany's studio (right next door to the bike shop) at 8:00 am for a 40 minute full body & abs workout

2. After your workout you'll come over to the bike shop where Morning Glory Farm will be set up with their amazing farm products & fresh flowers, and we will have lavender lemonade (made from Morning Glory Farm's Lavender syrup!) for you to sip on while you shop

Tickets are $20 and include:
💪 40 minute workout
💐 1 Fresh jar of Flowers
🍋 1 Lavender lemonade

I (Lizzy) have personally used the .motherearth plastic-free hair ties for years. (The mini ones are perfect for braids!) Made from organic cotton & natural rubber instead of elastic & polyester.

KIDS & FAMILY RIDE THIS THURSDAY EVENING (SEPT. 3rd) AT 5:30 PM!

☀️ These rides are roughly 8-10 miles long at a child-friendly pace

🚴‍♀️ If your child is riding on their own bike, they must be able to start & stop without assistance.

🚦 We will be riding on the road and will follow road rules. We will go over these before the ride.

🌄 We will mainly be riding county roads but will need to navigate through town to access them.

🪖 Riders should have on appropriate & safe attire, from helmet & shoes, to a capable bicycle.

💧Please bring your lights, water bottles, snacks, ect.

🕠 We leave at 5:30 promptly, so come as early as needed to prepare (do you need to purchase any supplies, is there air in your tires, is your seat adjusted where you need it, ect.)

📢 We have been overwhelmed with Amazon e-bikes coming through our doors that are unable to be fixed.

The owners of these bikes are frustrated that they "just bought this e-bike not that long ago" and it's not working. "I tried reaching out to other bike shop's and they say they won't work on it, will you?"

There is a reason they said that - many reasons actually.

We aren't posting this to be rude, but rather to educate consumers.

It's very important to KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY!

Many of these cheap e-bike companies are also using AI to promote these products - showing someone throwing the e-bike up in the air and catching it ... it's not realistic at all. They are heavy!

If you are in the market for an e-bike, please come talk to us to figure out exactly what you need for your lifestyle - the class of the bike matters & so does your safety!
