Kentucky Dance Institute KDI 2027 dates are July 11 -17 The Kentucky Dance Institute (KDI) promotes folk dancing in a family atmosphere with fun for all ages.

The Kentucky Dance Institute (KDI) promotes ethnic folk dancing to all ages and abilities at an annual family-friendly, week-long dance camp located in Murray, Kentucky. We provide a wide range of ethnic dances each year at camp. Over the years we have enjoyed Israeli, Mexican, Scottish, Hungarian, Turkish, Squares, Clogging, English Country and countless other International dances. Bring the kids

or bring your grandparents, we welcome all ages and skill levels.

2023 camp dates are July 16-21 at Murray State University in Murray, KY.

Last week, Kentucky Dance Institute welcomed 16 new K**b Tigers to the KDI family! It was a big year for newcomers, and we can't wait to see our new friends again in 12 short months for the 75th year of KDI!

Want to join in on the KDI fun, but not sure you can cover the cost? Well, we've got scholarships available that can cut your tuition in half!

Scholarships are awarded privately, and in return, we encourage you to attend as many classes as possible and assist with a few administrative tasks during the camp week. That's it. It's a great way to enjoy the KDI experience with a little less financial burden.

Don’t be left in the dark! KDI returns to Murray, KY this July for a full week of fabulous folk‑dance festivities and the friendliest faces around.

Blindfold dancing is optional. Fun and laughter are guaranteed. All ages and all dance levels (including sideline observers) welcome!
