This weekend showed the heart and grit of our FireBats team. These boys competed hard against some athletic, strong teams, including two 12U teams on Saturday, and a great 11U Louisa team today.

No matter the competition, our players kept battling, encouraging each other, and never backed down. We saw so many positive things this weekend: hustle, growth, toughness, teamwork, and moments that showed just how much this team is improving!

Wins or losses, we are proud of the way these boys represented the FireBats name! The purpose of this team has always been to develop players, and that’s what is happening!

And shout out to Grayson Trent who hit not 1, but 2 homeruns today!!! 💣

Their confidence is high, the kids are having fun, and it’s going to be a great summer!

Today, we remember and honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸⚾

From our FireBats family to yours, we are grateful for the brave men and women who gave everything for this country. Because of them, we get to enjoy days at the ballpark, time with family, and the freedoms we often take for granted.

As we spend this Memorial Day weekend doing what we love, we pause to remember those who served and never made it home.

Meet Trey- our FireBats bat boy, mascot, biggest fan, and one of the best parts of our team! ⚾️🔥

Trey absolutely loves being around the boys and coaches, and you can always find him smiling at the ballpark. Whether he’s helping in the dugout, cheering everyone on, or just soaking in every moment of the game, his love for baseball and this team is evident!

The FireBats wouldn’t be the same without him! ❤️💙
