The funny thing is that when you stop treating cardio as punishment and start treating it as an investment in your health, the fat loss often takes care of itself. 👊

Most people think cardio is only about burning calories. 🔥

But some of the biggest benefits have nothing to do with the calories you burn during the workout.

Regular cardio can:

❤️ Improve cardiovascular health
⚡ Increase energy levels
🧠 Enhance focus and cognitive function
🍽️ Improve insulin sensitivity
😊 Boost mood and reduce stress
⏳ Support long term health and longevity

In other words, cardio doesn’t just help you look better.

It helps you:

💪 Move better
🧠 Think better
😊 Feel better
❤️ Live better

Instead of asking:

❌ “How many calories did I burn?”

Try asking:

✅ “How is this improving my quality of life?”

Because the goal isn’t just to lose weight.

The goal is to build a body and mind that allow you to enjoy life, perform at your best, and stay active for decades to come.

Health. ❤️
Performance. ⚡
Longevity. ⏳

💪 The Ultimate Guide to Building Your Upper Body

From creating a wider back to building thicker arms, broader shoulders, a fuller chest, and stronger abs, every muscle contributes something unique to your physique.

This guide breaks down some of my favorite exercises for each major upper body muscle group and, more importantly, what each muscle contributes to your overall development.

📍 Chest
📍 Back Width
📍 Back Thickness
📍 Shoulders
📍 Biceps
📍 Triceps
📍 Forearms
📍 Abs

Whether your goal is to build muscle, improve your proportions, or simply train with more purpose, understanding what you’re trying to develop is just as important as the exercises you choose.

🧠 Train with intention.
🏋️ Choose effective exercises.
📈 Progress over time.

The body you’re after becomes much easier to build when you understand how it’s built in the first place.

💾 Save this guide for your next workout. 💪

As a sponsored athlete for over a decade, I’ve been around supplement manufacturers, formulation meetings, marketing teams, and “breakthrough” products more times than I can count.

And honestly?

Most supplements are not worth your money. 💸

A lot of the industry is built around hype, fancy labels, underdosed ingredients, and selling people shortcuts instead of fundamentals.

I’ve personally watched companies spend more money on marketing than on the actual formula itself.

But after years in the fitness industry, years competing professionally, years coaching clients, and years testing things myself…

These are the 5 supplements I would actually keep if I had to simplify everything:

⚪ Creatine Monohydrate
Still one of the most researched supplements ever. Strength, performance, recovery, cognition, muscle preservation. This one earns its reputation.

🐟 Omega 3 Fish Oil
Most people are inflamed, stressed, under recovered, and eating poorly balanced fats. Omega 3s support the brain, heart, joints, and overall health.

☀️ Vitamin D3
Most people spend their lives indoors. Low vitamin D levels are incredibly common and can affect energy, recovery, immune health, mood, and hormone function.

🥤 Protein Powder
Not because protein powder is magical. Because most people massively under eat protein and then wonder why recovery, body composition, hunger, and muscle retention suffer.

🌙 Magnesium Glycinate
Probably one of the most overlooked supplements. Sleep quality, nervous system support, recovery, stress regulation, muscle function… most people don’t realize how important magnesium really is.

The truth is:

The “boring” supplements usually have the strongest science. 📚

Not the fat burners.
Not the detox teas.
Not the influencer stacks.
Not the supplements promising to change your life in 7 days.

Just foundational supplements that consistently support human physiology over time. 🧠

You don’t need 25 supplements.

You need consistency with the right few. ✔️

I’m not against AI 🤖 . In fact, I think it’s one of the most powerful tools we’ve ever had.

But people keep sending me AI generated workouts and meal plans asking me to “double check” them. They are VERY pretty in design and organization, that’s for sure.

But… if you still need someone with experience to review it, you’re not fully trusting the output. You’re still trusting human judgment and that’s fine. And if you’re gonna do that to a coach don’t ask for it to be done for free.

AI can build a plan based on the information you give it.

But human physiology is not static.

Stress changes.
Sleep changes.
Recovery changes.
Hormones change.
Digestion changes.
Motivation changes.
Injuries happen.
Life happens.

And here’s the part people miss:

AI only knows what you tell it.
A skilled coach knows what to look for when your body starts telling a different story.

A good coach notices when performance drops before you realize why.
When recovery is off.
When adherence is slipping.
When stress is masking as “lack of discipline.”
When your body needs to push harder.
And when it needs to back off.

And let’s say you do everything right that it told you (assuming you asked it the right prompt and you added ALL the information you needed or thought you needed to give it) but then plateau? Do you input a new prompt?

What we do as experiences trainers ⤵️
It’s not just programming.
It’s pattern recognition, context, accountability, experience, and real time adjustment.

AI is a great tool.

But health is not just data.
It’s biology in motion.

At least for now, a prompt can build a program.

But it still takes human eyes, human experience, and human understanding to coach the person living inside it.

I speak for coaches with experience here, there’s trainers out there that I know AÍ does still a better job than them 😬, but that’s why anyone looking for one should do their research too 😁

“I’ll get back on track when I get home. For now, I’m on vacation.”

But the truth is… most people were already halfway off track before the trip.

Vacation didn’t ruin the habit.
It just exposed how fragile it was.

Relax, enjoy yourself, make memories.
But don’t completely abandon the habits that support the life you say you want.

Your goals shouldn’t only exist when life is convenient.

People will spend thousands on fancy skin care, peptides, supplements, IV drips, and anti aging “hacks”…

And sure, some of those things may have a place.

But one of the most powerful longevity tools we have is still simple:

Strength training. 💪

Not because it just makes you look better.

Because muscle is one of the biggest predictors of quality of life as you age.

Strength training helps you:

✔ Preserve lean muscle
✔ Support metabolism
✔ Improve insulin sensitivity
✔ Strengthen bones and joints
✔ Reduce risk of falls and frailty
✔ Maintain independence later in life

This is the part people miss:

Longevity isn’t just about living longer…

It’s about staying capable while you’re here.

You can chase all the fancy anti aging tools you want.

But if you’re ignoring strength training, you may be skipping one of the most proven foundations of healthy aging.

The basics still win. 🔥

Intelligent Masculinity?….dont believe the narrative a lot of social media pushes you

What worked at 25 often stops working at 35.

More stress 😵‍💫
Less sleep 😴
More responsibilities 💼
Less recovery ⏳

And yet social media keeps pushing a version of masculinity that says:

Train harder 🏋️
Never slow down ⚔️
Push through pain 😤
Look like the guy online with abs year round 📱

But here’s what a lot of men do not realize…

Many of those physiques are built with help 💉

Enhanced recovery. Enhanced hormones. Unrealistic expectations.

And now regular men think they are failing because they cannot keep up with a standard that was never real to begin with.

That is not intelligent masculinity.

🧠 Intelligent masculinity is knowing when to push and when to recover
💪 Building strength without destroying yourself
❤️ Taking care of your body so you can keep showing up for life
⚖️ Separating your worth from your physique

As a former Mr. Olympia competitor, I learned this the hard way.

In the last 6 months alone, two injuries reminded me of something important:

Fitness after 35 is not about proving how hard you can go.

It is about learning how to keep going.

Train smart 💪
Recover better 😴
Age with intention 🔥

That is real strength.
