Predictability is one of the keys to riding safely in traffic and in a group. Make your intentions clear so drivers and other cyclists have time to anticipate what you're going to do.

✅ Hold a straight, consistent line.
✋ Signal before turning, changing lanes or stopping.
👀 Scan behind you before changing position.
⚠️ Avoid sudden swerving or braking.

Remember: Scan. Signal. Move when it's safe.

Drivers cannot react to a cyclist they do not see. Use a white front light and red rear light, wear bright or reflective clothing, and stay alert for turning vehicles, driveways, and unexpected movements.
Make eye contact when possible—but never assume a driver sees you. Be prepared to slow down or stop.
Be visible. Be alert. Be ready.
