Congrats on the 2016 Magic City Classic, Dec 9, 2016. 1st was Buggin Out, 2nd was Ira, and 3rd was Uncle Drossel. Congrats to the owners, breeders and trainers of Alabama's best for 2016. I posted an album on my page for Trinity Thoroughbreds that has more pictures but unfortunately I didn't get a pic of a few of them. Have a great Holiday Season.

The magic city classic is going to take place at the fairgrounds on Dec, 9 2016 in the 2nd race. It looks to have a full field so it's a go. It is for 3 yr old and up Alabama-breds. Best wishes to everyone.

I am sure that most of you know that the Alabama Thoroughbred Breeders Racing Association has stopped hosting the stallion auction and the races. There just wasn't enough support to sustain it. The AL HBPA is supporting the state bred horses by offering supplements to those that come in 1st, 2nd and 3rd in any race for AL HBPA members. The AL HBPA is making headway in getting contracts signed for the simulcast signals that will bring in more AL HBPA supported races as well. They may actually put the Birmingham Race Track back on the equine map. That is about all that is happening in the state currently. Feel free to continue to use this facebook placeholder for AL Breeding Topics and such. The ATBRA group is still in existence and Mary Anne Pruitt is the president. Thanks for all your support.
