Yoga Thoughts:
You are not difficult to love. You flourish wherever love is allowed to move both ways.
My tribe has taught me this.
I may be the person standing at the front of the room, guiding the exercises, counting repetitions, and reminding everyone to breathe, but they have taught me just as much about life as I could ever teach them about movement.
They have shown me that strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes strength is walking through the door when your body hurts. It is trying again after a loss. It is laughing when you wobble, accepting the helping hand beside you, and continuing to show up for your own life.
But perhaps the greatest lesson they have taught me is what happens when love is allowed to move both ways.
I encourage them, and they encourage me. I notice when they are struggling, and they notice when I am not quite myself. We tease one another, celebrate progress, share stories, and make room for each other to be fully human.
Somewhere along the way, these classes became more than exercise. They became a community, and one of the places where I feel most genuinely loved.
My peeps have reminded me that we do not flourish because we are pushed harder, expected to need less, or asked to prove our worth. We flourish when we feel safe, valued, included, and cared for.
We simply flourish wherever love is allowed to move both ways. ❤️
I am so grateful for you all. For this place, and for the love that flows in these walls. Thank you for sharing your hearts with me. 💕
