Congratulations to Summer, our Cheerleader of the Week! 🤍

Selected by her teammates, Summer was recognized the week of August 31, 2026 for:

⭐ Her kindness, hard work and putting in full effort

📣 BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR OUR 2026 FOOTBALL SEASON MINI CHEER CAMP REGISTRATION FORM IN THE FIRST BOOMERANG OF THE NEW 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR GOING OUT TO ALL BEACON AND SIMPSON STUDENTS! **MUST REGISTER ONLINE OR IN PERSON AT THE MHS OFFICE NO LATER THAN 3:30 PM ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026**WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT LATE REGISTRATIONS THIS TIME; THE T-SHIRT COLOR IS A CUSTOM ORDER COLOR THAT IS BEING ORDERED TO GO ALONG WITH OUR MINI CHEER CAMP THEME**📣

The Montesano High School Cheer Team is very excited to present our Surf’s Up Mini Cheer Camp! 🌊🏝️🎀

Are you in TK-8th grade, and love to cheer and have fun?!

Please join the Montesano High School Football Cheer Team for a mini cheer camp on Tuesday, September 22, 2026; Wednesday, September 23, 2026; and Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm each day in the junior high gym and perform with us during halftime of the home Varsity football game vs. Cedar Park Christian on Friday, September 25, 2026. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm at Jack Rottle field in Montesano.

Cost is $50. Each mini cheer camp participant will receive a t-shirt and a bow, which will be worn for our halftime performance on Friday, September 25, 2026.

The best day ♥️🩶🤍

So much to be proud of! These girls worked incredibly hard at camp, challenged themselves, supported one another and represented our cheer program, community and school so well. They are coming home from camp with a lot to celebrate!

📣 Spirit Stick Awards all four days of camp

📣 Lily and Addi were selected to be All American Cheerleaders

📣 Camp Champion (First Place) Spirit Routine in the Small Varsity division

📣 And soooo many ribbon awards, including a gold ribbon (the highest ribbon award you can get) for UCA staff’s evaluation of our performance last night at camp

The awards are exciting, but I am even more proud of the hard work, growth, teamwork, school spirit and determination behind them. This team continued to step up, push themselves and represent our Montesano High School Cheer team and program with class and pride throughout camp.

What an incredible way to kick off our season! I am SO proud of you girls and cannot wait to see what you accomplish together this season! Go Dogs!

Last fair performance for our Senior Seven! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our team at tonight’s Grays Harbor County Cheer Expo performance! 📣

I could not be more proud of this team. The countless hours of practice, commitment, perseverance and determination they have shown over the past several months were on full display tonight. Every performance is the result of hard work behind the scenes and this team continues to grow, learn and challenge themselves.

Thank you to my cheerleaders for representing our school and community with pride, teamwork and dedication. Watching this team perform tonight reminded me why I love coaching. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you and I cannot wait to see what this season has in store.

Keep raising the standard - this is just the beginning of an exciting season! 📣♥️🤍🩶
