Cheer tryouts begin tonight in the high school gym! To be eligible to participate in tryouts, just a reminder that these are the requirements:

☑️ Received a cheer Tryout Packet from Coach Tiffanee or the MHS office

☑️ Join our Tryout Band (must download the Band app first) (link in bio)

☑️ Mandatory Google form Tryout Application must have been submitted by the deadline of 5 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026 (reminder Late Tryout applications past the deadline will not be accepted)

☑️ Signed parent permission slip included in the Tryout Packet received by Coach Tiffanee (please turn into Coach Tiffanee tonight when you arrive at tryouts if you have not turned it in already)

☑️ Current sports physical already verified by Athletics in Final Forms or hard copy of your current sports physical turned into Coach Tiffanee

☑️ Please make sure you are wearing proper tryout attire per the information in the Tryout Packet (this information is also on our Tryout Band and team socials)

We are announcing our cheer camp dates early for this next new season to provide families with more time to plan. Go Dogs! 📣

🚨OUR FINAL 2026-2027 CHEER TRYOUT INFO MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2026 AT 1:30 PM IN THE LIBRARY DURING MHS MEETING DAY! IF YOU ARE A CURRENT 8-11 GRADE STUDENT AND WILL BE TRYING OUT FOR CHEER, YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING IS MANDATORY!🚨

PLEASE BRING YOUR SIGNED PARENT PERMISSION SLIP (PAGE SIX OF THE TRYOUT PACKET; TRYOUT PACKETS MAY BE PICKED UP IN THE MHS OFFICE ON THE WALL BY ATTENDANCE) AND HARD COPY SPORTS PHYSICAL TO TURN INTO COACH TIFFANEE AT THIS MEETING (OR E-MAIL BOTH OF THESE DOCUMENTS TO [email protected] PRIOR TO 1:30 PM ON FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2026)!

📣 We are only one month away from cheer tryouts!

☑️ Please make sure you join our Tryout Band ASAP (link in Instagram bio) and if you have not already done so (they were also distributed during our February 13, 2026 tryout meeting), please pick up a tryout packet in the MHS office (on the wall by attendance), have your parent sign the permission slip included in the tryout packet and turn the signed permission slip into Coach Tiffanee at the Friday, April 3, 2026 tryout meeting OR via email ([email protected]) no later than 1:30 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026.

☑️ You will also need to turn a hard copy of your current sports physical into Coach Tiffanee at our April 3, 2026 tryout meeting OR via email ([email protected]) no later than 1:30 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026.

☑️ Please complete and submit the Google form 2026-2027 Montesano High School Cheerleader Tryout Application NO LATER THAN 5:00 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026 (was sent to all current 8-11 grade students via Skyward on February 13, 2026 or you may access it via the link in our Instagram bio).
