Coach's 10-Step Study System.

In the Vault now.

Coaches, I wanted to share something a little different this week.

As we get deeper into the season, it’s easy to get consumed with game plans, film, adjustments, and trying to win the next game.

But sometimes I think we need to remind ourselves why we started coaching in the first place.

Are we still developing our players? Are we still teaching? Are we still building relationships?

Or have we become so focused on the next opponent that we’ve forgotten some of those things?

I wrote a short article about this today. It’s completely free, and I hope it serves as a good midseason reminder for all of us.

Player Opponent Film Evaluations

All 9 positions.

Print them off and give to kids on Sunday to scout their opponents.

Did a situation cost your team Friday night?

Maybe it wasn’t the play call. Maybe the wrong personnel entered, the clock was mishandled, the field-goal unit wasn’t ready or the players had never rehearsed what to do after a sudden change.

I just finished a complete Situational Football Practice System for high school staffs.

It includes ready-to-run offensive, defensive and special-teams situations, a weekly practice structure, printable setup cards, blank scripts and completed examples.

The goal is to help coaches plan next week’s situational periods without starting from scratch.

It’s now inside the GameDay Systems Vault.

OFFENSIVE SELF SCOUT SYSTEM.

Great for mid-season, bye week, or end of the year.

Been working on this for a while now. Will be finished with it soon.

If you don't scout yourself and dig into your numbers, you are cheating yourself.

I built this for all football coaches:

4,000 subscribers.

GameDay systems just hit 4k subscribers.

To celebrate, annual memberships are at 48% off for 40 hours.

This is the lowest annual price it will ever be.

Offer ends Sunday at midnight.

Now is the time to join.

Most coaches can identify a 4-2-5 defense.

But how do you turn that information into an actual Friday-night plan?

I just added the first Game Plan Lab to the Vault.

This is a fully completed 14-step case study against a fictional 4-2-5 movement defense—not a blank template.

It shows exactly how we went from film tendencies to:

• Core runs and passes
• Formations and motions
• Situational calls
• Red-zone answers
• The opening script
• Weekly practice periods
• Between-series adjustments
• The halftime plan
• A finished Friday-night call sheet
• Postgame evaluation

The full Game Plan Lab is available now inside the New This Week folder.

See the complete process—from film to Friday night.

Putting an entire football staff into the Vault through separate subscriptions gets expensive.

So I built a staff option.

For one annual payment of $249.99, every football coach at one school receives:

• An individual login
• Complete access to the GameDay Systems Vault
• 600+ practical coaching resources
• Every new resource added throughout the year

No shared password. No seat limit. One school. One staff. One annual payment.

Head coaches, coordinators, and athletic directors can request staff access here:

Know a staff that could use this? Send it to them.
