Yeah… we’re not saying you should call your boss and tell him you’re sick.

We’re just saying the golf course is in excellent condition and opportunities like this don’t come around every day. 👀⛳

And if you happen to need an unofficial doctor’s note…

The clubhouse may or may not be willing to help. 😏

Step right up and spin the wheel.

At this point, we’re all just standing around together waiting for Mother Nature to accidentally string together more than two decent golf days in a row. ⛳️😅

This spring we’ve had:

🌫️ Dust storms with zero visibility
❄️ Frost warnings
🌬️ Gale force winds
🌨️ Surprise snow
☔ Cold rain

And somehow the tiny little sliver labeled “Perfect Golf Weather” keeps getting skipped.

But we’re in this together, Apple Grove crew. One day soon we’ll be complaining about how hot it is and forgetting this ever happened.

Until then, we’ll keep watching the weather, crossing our fingers, and reminding ourselves…

“We really needed the moisture.”

Or whatever it is people always say to justify the sadness🍎⛳️

The grounds crew has been in an absolute heavyweight battle with Mother Nature lately… and honestly, they might be taking the worst beating of all of us. 😅🌪️🌧️❄️

But rain or shine, dust storm or frost warning, they’ve been out here putting in the work to get Apple Grove looking its best for all of you. 👏⛳️

Maybe a heartfelt handwritten letter taking accountability for whatever caused this early-season Midwest weather punishment.

Because now we’ve got a freeze warning tonight and highs in the low 40’s tomorrow. 🌬️❄️

Honestly, it feels personal at this point. 😂

BUT… we’re going to let her have the morning to cool off and think about what she’s done. Then we’re opening at 12 NOON whether she likes it or not. ⛳️

It’s about time she adjusts her attitude.

Lord knows we need the moisture though, because Thursday we looked less like a golf course and more like we were accepting tee times on Mars. 😅

Women’s League starts TONIGHT at Apple Grove!

We’re calling on all the golf girls, cart cruisers, snack bringers, competitive queens, “I’m just here for fun” players, and everyone in between… let’s make this the BIGGEST women’s league in town. 👏🔥
