Playing rugby and looking good. Our team colors are purple, black, and white. Menagerie's current membership includes: 30 players and 50+ social members.

Founded in 1986 under the original name of the “Heebe Jeebe's”, the club officially latched onto its definition: “...a collection of wild animals on display,”changing to Minneapolis Menagerie Rugby Club in 1989. Active players comprised of people ages 18-55, with careers in the Health & Law fields, manufacturing, engineering, management, education, business and the military. This diverse group mak

es a yearlong commitment to play high quality rugby, strengthen the rugby community in Minnesota, and have fun!

From start to finish, this team showed up, played for each other, and left it all on the pitch. So much to be proud of and even more to look forward to. Can’t wait to see what this season brings!

MATCH DAY!!

The Fall 2026 season is officially underway, and we’re finally hitting the pitch this Saturday for our season opener and first home game!

This one is extra special as we celebrate 40 years of Menagerie Rugby. Four decades of rugby, community, and making memories with some pretty incredible mates.

Come out, bring the energy, and help us kick off Season 40 on our home pitch the way it deserves!!

Safe to say... we’re SO back. 😤💪🏽

First practice brought an incredible turnout, with both new and familiar faces ready to get after it. If this is how the season is starting, can’t wait to see what’s next.

Playoffs are calling.. 🤗

Add if you couldn’t make it out today and still have an interest, come Thursday or whenever you can! The door is always open for new players no matter how far we are in the season. We would love to have ya!

Fall rugby is BACK!!

Practice for our fall season starts this week and couldn't be more excited to get back on the pitch!

Whether you're a seasoned player looking for a team or you've never touched a rugby ball before, there's a place for you at Menagerie. All you need to do is bring cleats, a mouth guard, and a water bottle and get ready to have fun with an incredible group of mates.

New season, new memories.
