The Minnesota Freeze is an Australian Rules Football Club based in the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. The men's and women's teams are comprised of players from various backgrounds, ages, and nationalities. We represent Minnesota at the national level in the United States Australian Football League (USAFL). Throughout the year both teams play against other teams mainly in the Midwest. At the en

d of the season both teams compete in the USAFL National Championship Tournament. Since the men's team's debut at the national level in 2005, they have won 4 National Championships. Regardless of your skill level or familiarity with the game, all players are welcome. Our club thrives because of newcomers' willingness to come out give it a "fair go." We’re not sure what happened yesterday, except for Big Hanga taking home Best on Ground AND the Golden Boot with 8 goals on the day.

We did hear that the Freeze took runner up in the tourney and the yeti boys had some great play, despite falling to competition from the Midwest.

Thank you to Des Moines Roosters for hosting our favorite summer kick off again this year! Grateful to have such great clubs in our bordering states.
