BLP members, you’ve got first dibs.

Embodied Anatomy Academy is officially open for member enrollment.

This six-month experience is designed to help you understand your body in a deeper, more meaningful way through anatomy, imagery, movement, and Pilates.

And because you’re already part of the BLP community, you get to enroll before we open the doors to everyone else.

Member enrollment is open now.
Public enrollment begins September 12.

With only 15 spots available for the entire Academy, that early access matters.

If you’ve been curious about understanding why your body moves the way it does—not just what movement you’re doing—this is your opportunity to go deeper.

And yes, there are some special pricing benefits for members, too. 👀

What if anatomy wasn’t something you had to memorize?

What if you could feel it?

Instead of simply learning that your pelvis and spine are connected, imagine exploring that relationship through movement and beginning to notice what changes when you move differently.

That’s the idea behind Embodied Anatomy Academy.

We’ll use anatomy, Franklin Method imagery, movement, and Pilates to help turn information into something you can actually experience in your own body.

Because the goal isn’t to know more anatomy terms.

It’s to understand your body differently.

Embodied Anatomy Academy begins October 3.

And you don’t need a Pilates background to join us.

15 spots. Six months. One connected journey.

Something new is coming to Body Language Pilates.

Embodied Anatomy Academy is a six-month journey into anatomy, imagery, and movement designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of your body.

This isn’t about memorizing the names of bones and muscles.

It’s about learning to experience your anatomy through movement—and understanding how that knowledge can influence the way you move through Pilates and everyday life.

Over six months, we’ll map the body, refine our understanding, and apply what we’re learning through movement.

And you don’t need to have done Pilates before.

You just need curiosity about your body and a willingness to explore.

The first Academy cohort begins October 3 and is limited to 15 participants.

Enrollment is open now.

We learned something we couldn’t keep to ourselves.

Over the past year, Sami and Ashley have been diving deeper into the Franklin Method—exploring anatomy, imagery, movement, and the ways we can better understand our bodies from the inside out.

And now, we want to share what we’ve learned with you.

That’s the heart behind Embodied Anatomy Academy.

This isn’t about memorizing anatomy terms or becoming an expert overnight.

It’s about learning to feel your body differently.

To understand how your pieces connect.

To find more ease in your movement.

To become more aware of what your body is doing—and why.

To move better and drop in.

We created the Academy because we believe this work can change the way you experience movement, Pilates, and even your everyday life.

And you don’t need to have done Pilates before to join us.

You just need to be curious about your body and willing to explore.

Embodied Anatomy Academy is a six-month journey beginning October 3, with only 15 spots available.

We’re so excited to share this work with you.

Come learn, explore, and move with us.

The Roll Down on the long box is about so much more than “getting your abs to work.”

In this variation, the straps offer just enough support to help you slow down and notice what’s really happening.

✨ Sitting up tall helps you connect to your deep low abdominals before you even begin to move.
✨ Your feet aren’t just along for the ride. They create energy that travels all the way up into your pelvic floor and deep core.
✨ And as you lower, your focus shifts to articulating one vertebra at a time, creating space, control, and awareness through your entire spine.

Pilates isn’t about forcing bigger movements. It’s about building a stronger connection between your body and your brain so every movement becomes more intentional.

What part of the Roll Down challenges you most: the articulation, the abdominal control, or sitting up tall? We’d love to hear below. 💛

What’s one thing you wish you knew before starting Pilates?

For Sami, it was realizing that having a lot of flexibility didn’t automatically mean having control.

Like many people, she discovered she was hypermobile. She had plenty of range of motion, but not always the strength and stability to support it. Pilates changed that.

✨ Strength.
✨ Precision.
✨ Control.

That’s what Pilates is really about. It’s not about being the most flexible person in the room. It’s about building a body that moves well, feels supported, and works with you in everyday life.

Whether you’re hypermobile, stiff, athletic, or just getting started, Pilates meets you where you are and helps you move with more confidence.

What’s one thing you wish you knew before starting Pilates? We’d love to hear it in the comments. 💛
