⛸️ LEARN TO SKATE – NORFOLK ICE ARENA ⛸️
Ready to hit the ice? Join the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program, one of the top beginner skating programs in the country—perfect for all ages and ability levels!
This program is designed for both recreational and future competitive skaters, helping participants build skills, confidence, and a love of skating in a fun and supportive environment.
✅ 25 minutes of instruction + 25 minutes of supervised practice each session
✅ Focus on proper technique and fundamental skills
✅ Promotes fitness, balance, and coordination
📍 Norfolk Ice Arena, 1 Dean Street, Norfolk
🗓️ Session 1: Tuesdays, June 23 – July 21

Have you thought about playing “the fastest growing game in America” Pickleball?
Do you enjoy meeting new local people, getting some light exercise and having a blast?
If so, then this class is for you. Coach Mike, our certified Pickleball instructor, is back again this year. He will teach you the basics and rules to get you to play games in the first class. No experience necessary. Paddles and balls provided. Min 4/Max 16

BASKETBALL CAMP – F.A.S.T. Athletics
3…..2…..1…..bzzzz. Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands. Minimum 10/Maximum 30

Discover, create, and explore! This inclusive and adaptive art program invites participants of all abilities to experiment with a wide variety of creative materials in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Over 4 weeks, participants will explore a new medium each week:
🖌️ Painting
✏️ Drawing
✂️ Collage
🏺 Clay
This program is all about trying new things, expressing creativity, and having fun—whether art is new to you or already a passion. Projects are flexible and open-ended, allowing everyone to work at their own pace and comfort level.
Led by Sara Stranahan, an artist and licensed PK–12 art educator, all participants will be supported and encouraged throughout the experience.
