The girls golf team finished 2nd at the Norwalk Invite shooting a 194. Annabelle Seville had a 44 followed by Averi Thurston who had a 45. Averi Wolf had a 49 and Lilly Davis has a 56.

The boys golf team finished third in the Norwalk Shootout shooting a 179. Owen Price and Brooks Ballah had 41’s. Weston Gfell had 45 and Eli Hermes had a 52.

Girls Soccer

The Edison Lady Chargers put together their most complete offensive performance of the young season Wednesday night, defeating Old Fort 6-0 to even their season record at 2-2.

Emma Lesniak led the way offensively for Edison, scoring twice, including one goal from the penalty spot. Sophia Chaput, Juliana Johnson, Kailyn Dickman and August Hines each added a goal to round out the Chargers’ scoring.

Evelyn Hill and Ellie Heater each contributed an assist in the victory.

Edison posted its second shutout of the season. Natalie Mees recorded the clean sheet in goal, making two saves as the Chargers limited Old Fort’s offensive opportunities.

The win moves Edison to 2-2 on the season and gives the Chargers some positive momentum heading into the start of league play.

Edison will open conference play Sept. 10 when the Chargers travel to Perkins (7pm).

The Edison Boys golf team competed in the Edison Invite today at Sawmill Creek. The boys finished 12th Owen Price led the Chargers with an 85. Eli Hermes had 90. Maxim Johnson had 100. Brooks Ballah had 101.
