Thank you so much to Aquarius Chemical, TP Rentals, and Hondo Resources for supporting our athletes this summer. It was a chance to take 40 athletes all the way to Tennessee. They raced hard and learned a ton. Midland is a special place where businesses and people show up for the kids at COM Swim Team, and that doesn’t happen everywhere. We’re grateful to everyone who made this possible and who continues to support us. It’s great to see these hard-working kids earn their spot, then come home better than when they left. Can’t wait for next year!

Thank you to Jacam Catalyst, Phillips Orthodontics, Big D Drilling, and SLB of the Permian Basin for supporting our athletes this summer. It was awesome watching the kids work so hard and take the trip seriously. Everyone who went came back a better swimmer. Getting to interact with professional athletes and coaches at the highest level of our sport is something they’ll remember for a long time. Thank you to Audubon Resources, Southwest Heritage Bank, and Insignia Hospitality Group for being rockstar sponsors for our senior training trip. Our senior trip is a special part of the program — we take our incoming freshmen and high schoolers to train for a full week, usually at a university. This year we got to go to UT Knoxville and work with the Tennessee coaching staff. It left a real mark on our swimmers. We’re grateful for sponsors like you who believe in our kids and their effort. Looking forward to next year already!

A huge thank you to Propetro, Heritage USA, and Desert Royalty for sponsoring our senior training trip this summer. Because of them, 40 of our athletes got to travel to Tennessee for 10 days of racing and training. We can’t do trips like this without the support of our community. Thank you to the businesses and people of Midland who believe in how hard our kids work every single day. We had an incredible time and already can’t wait for next year. Massive thank you to Diamondback Energy for sponsoring our team training trip! Because of their support, our athletes didn’t just race at a high level — they got a high-level education in swimming. 40 COM swimmers spent time with professional athletes like Jordan Crooks and Camille Spink and learned from the entire UT Knoxville coaching staff. This is a super special opportunity in our sport, and we’re so grateful. All the coaches, athletes, and parents of the COM Swim Team, thank you, Diamondback! We can’t wait for next year.

Our 33-year-old dive tower is getting a major renovation to make it safer, stronger, and ready for the next generation of athletes.

The project includes replacing the aging 5-meter and 7-meter platforms, repairing the supporting steel, installing new stairs and handrails, and making additional upgrades throughout the diving area.

Short course season is officially here, and we had the best time kicking it off together!

Our swimmers had a blast, our families got to catch up, and our coaches enjoyed spending time with their team. It was such a fun night and everything we love about COM.

We are more excited than ever for the season ahead!
