How our Accolade Ensemble spends Friday nights from late September - February. Rehearsing. FYI - our Accolade Ensemble brings ballet to those most isolated from the performance arts, the residents of assisted living and memory care residences. A huge shout out to Middleton Endowment for helping fund these free-to-our community performances. After all, although free to our community, CMB still pays for choreography, choreo-rehearsals, costuming and music. Thanks, Middleton Endowment, for helping us make ballet affordable and accessible to our community.

YESTERDAY our Junior One dancers enjoyed MEGA MONDAY SKIRT DAY. Ms. Maelanie says she combined both Junior One classes ". . . for cross-class relationship building and spatial management training." As for training in skirts, she explains, "Skirts are pretty. And our dancers dance differently when wearing them." Of course, putting on a ballet skirt can be tricky, so before class Ms. Maelanie and Miss Marissa assisted our dancers.

This en pointe autumn Saturday for our Standard & Pre-Pro dancers involved training and rehearsing, then visiting a pumpkin patch.
Funded by CMB's student-run National Dance Honor Society, we're proud of the community these dancers are building for themselves and the dancers training up behind them.
