Last week the Putnam County Sheriff's Office hosted our SWAT Level 1 course, with operators from five agencies training side by side. The course builds a new tactical team member from the ground up, with focused blocks on fi****ms fundamentals, CQB, and vehicle assaults. Yesterday was a special day for me personally. After five years in retirement, I had the opportunity to return to a place that means a lot to me—conducting fi****ms training alongside my partner, Chad, for my former team with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team.

It’s hard to put into words what that meant. I’m thankful for the chance to be back, even if just for a day, doing something I’ve always cared deeply about. All glory and honor to Jesus Christ for making it possible.
