What a busy week in the factory! The AIRE team just wrapped up a custom 28-foot Lion build! Each of the long welds took approximately 4.5 minutes to complete, requiring skill, precision, and patience every step of the way.

A HUGE shoutout to our talented team for their craftsmanship and dedication. Great work, Team AIRE!

It’s Finals Day at the North Fork Championship and it’s hard not to think about all the memories made on this legendary stretch of whitewater.

Today we’re throwing it back to some of our favorite First Responders taking on the North Fork. This crew has logged countless laps, collected plenty of stories, had a few close calls, and captured no shortage of photos and videos along the way.

⚠️ If you’re asking yourself, “Maybe I should raft the North Fork...” you probably shouldn’t. The North Fork of the Payette is an extremely challenging section of whitewater with serious consequences. These runs should only be attempted by highly experienced boaters with the proper training, equipment, and river knowledge.

With the underway, showcasing some of the best paddlers in the world, here’s a reminder that the North Fork, Payette isn’t just for kayaks. 🤘

With the kicking off right here in our backyard, we’re throwing it back to one of AIRE’s founders getting after it in the Lower Seven.

“Back then, they used to release water from Cascade Reservoir in January. Air temps were in the mid-20s, ice was building up on the oars and frame, and slush filled the eddies. Everything was a little slippery. Around 1,000 CFS in the Lower Seven.” - Alan Hamilton

The gear has evolved, but the stoke for Idaho whitewater hasn’t changed. 🤘
