With the kicking off right here in our backyard, we’re throwing it back to one of AIRE’s founders getting after it in the Lower Seven.
“Back then, they used to release water from Cascade Reservoir in January. Air temps were in the mid-20s, ice was building up on the oars and frame, and slush filled the eddies. Everything was a little slippery. Around 1,000 CFS in the Lower Seven.” - Alan Hamilton
