Please help us welcome our new Head Softball Coach, Megan Smith! 🥎
Coach Smith is from Madison, Mississippi, and played collegiate softball at East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi University for Women. She previously coached at Clinton for three years and brings both experience and passion to our program.
Coach Smith is excited to create a culture where athletes grow not only as players, but also as confident young women, teammates, and leaders. She looks forward to mentoring athletes, building relationships, and watching them develop throughout the season.
She is passionate about bringing energy, pride, and enthusiasm to the program while creating a family atmosphere where athletes can compete together and make lasting memories. Her goal is to leave a positive impact on both the program and the community.
Fun fact: Coach Smith has a twin sister named Madisyn! She is also married to Ryan Smith, a Southeast alum!
We are excited for the future of our softball program under Coach Smith’s leadership. All new and returning softball players and their families are invited to meet Coach Smith tomorrow at the team meet and greet!
