Attention Horsemen & Women. I have a person that is wanting to enter the 330 yard race but said they would run 300 to 400 yards. If you have a horse for the 330 yard race or want to run 300 to 400 yards let me know and we'll try to get something going. If the 300 yard race doesn't fill and this horse and 2 more run we will add the $200.00 to that race at what ever distance you agree to run.

Well folks, we were open Saturday for racing but no one showed up. We are assuming the weather had everyone at home. The track was in perfect shape. It came two small showers around 12:00 and started raining hard around 4:30. We could have run a good many races before it got bad but we understand it might have been raining harder at your house. The weather is not going to stop us. We are going to keep being open each month trying to provide everyone with a nice safe place to run your horses. We love horse racing as much as anyone out there so we'll be here and open as long as we can. Come be with us when you can. Call us if there's anything we can do to help get you the kind of race that will fit you and your horse. We'll be posting next months races soon. Keep us in mind. We hope to see you at Russell Downs soon! Danny and Woodie

If anyone is planning to come to the races at Russell Downs Saturday the 15th please let us know what kind of horses you have, how far you want run, and how much you want to run for so we can try to help get you matched up. Let us know if you have jockeys coming to ride for you. We have a couple of good riders that are wanting to come if they know they can get some mounts. We have one horse already that's wanting to enter the special race at 300 yards. Let us know if anyone else is interested in entering this race. If 3 or more horses enter this race then $200 will be added to race. You can call Danny at 601-880-9222 or call me Woodie at
