❤️🖤🥎 MEQUON MAYHEM 16U BLACK BATTLES TO A NAFA NORTHERN NATIONALS GOLD BRACKET RUNNER-UP FINISH!

What a weekend for Mequon Mayhem 16U Black at the NAFA Northern Nationals in Minnesota!

The girls battled through 11 games in the extreme heat, showing incredible grit, determination, and heart every step of the way.

After an early loss in bracket play Sunday morning, they refused to quit. The team fought their way through four straight elimination games to earn a spot back in the Gold Bracket Championship, finishing as NAFA Northern Nationals Gold Bracket Runner-Up! 🥈

The final result doesn't even begin to tell the story of what this team endured. Through relentless heat, exhaustion, and the pressure of win-or-go-home softball, these girls never stopped believing in each other. Every inning, every game, and every comeback was earned through determination, toughness, and an unwavering commitment to one another.

💣 Offensively, Claire Gilbertson and Niki Johnson each launched a home run during the tournament, providing huge moments for the Mayhem offense! 🥎

We couldn't be more proud of the resilience, toughness, and never-give-up attitude this team displayed all weekend. Playing 11 games in those conditions is no small feat, and these athletes left everything they had on the field.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and families on an incredible tournament run. This team proved that heart, resilience, and teamwork can overcome just about anything.

🥎 **3RD PLACE FINISH – USSSA ILLINOIS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP** 🥎

What a weekend for **Mequon Mayhem 16U Black** in Peoria, Illinois!

After opening the tournament with a strong **3-0 start**, the team dropped one game and was forced into the lower bracket. Instead of backing down, these athletes battled their way through an incredible Sunday, winning four consecutive games in 90+ degree heat to fight their way back into championship contention.

Over the course of the weekend, Mayhem played an incredible nine games, showing tremendous grit, resilience, and determination every step of the way. Their amazing run came up just one game short of the championship game, earning an outstanding 3rd Place finish at the **USSSA Illinois State Championship**.

We couldn't be prouder of the heart, toughness, and perseverance this team displayed all weekend. They never quit, competed until the final out, and represented Mequon Mayhem with pride.
