“Teammates always hit the hardest!”
An MC made this declaration right before two of our Knights, Austin and Logan, faced off for the first time in a sanctioned tournament. It has rung true every time they’ve stepped into the list together. No one knows a fighter’s style, habits, or preferences better than their own teammate.
So when the time comes to compete, the only way to beat your teammate is to give it your all, swing your hardest, and know that when a hand goes up after two rounds, a loss to one individual is still a victory for Memphis.
This weekend, our dueling duo is traveling to Wisconsin to represent the Memphis Armored Fight Club in the Rogues and Mercenaries Longsword Competition. While there, they will forge bonds with the area's local teams, receive training from the nation’s best duelist, and hopefully haul in a few more medals for the Club.
No matter who wins, they'll bring back experience to share with the rest of the team, making our local events more exciting and hard-hitting. Stay tuned for more details about upcoming events, and good luck to both!
