Curling is a unique sport, offering a challenging recreational and competitive environment for everyone regardless of age, gender, or physical condition. It promotes a code of conduct emphasizing honesty, respect, responsibility, and good sportsmanship. Since our founding in May 2002, the Pittsburgh Curling Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer run organization, has introduced the Olympic sport of

curling to thousands of people in and around the Pittsburgh metro-area. During this time, we have seen the popularity of curling increase at a steady rate. Since 2018, over 3,000 people were able to experience the sport through our series of league and learn-to-curl programs. This growth continues now in our ADA compliant dedicated curling facility located just a stone's throw from downtown Pittsburgh.

At its core, curling is defined by its people. It's a community built on dedication, sportsmanship, and a shared passion for the game. We're thrilled to recognize the curlers who embodied those values and took them to the next level. Please join us in congratulating the award winners of the 2025–2026 season!

The Pittsburgh Curling Club had a blast hosting a fifth grade class field trip from South Buffalo Elementary (Freeport Area School District). The kids had a great time learning about ice making and pebbling, playing a trivia game, and sliding rocks, just like teams Casper, Peterson, and mixed doubles team Thiesse/Dropkin. πŸ₯Œ

We've never seen curling like this before! We were lucky to host That Adventure Guy as he tried curling and documented the whole experience in first-person POV. Oh, and he also made a custom Pittsburgh Curling Club-branded rug! Check out his video below. πŸŽ₯
