First Home Football Game
Or first home football game of the season is this Friday, September 4, against Parkway West. We are anticipating a large crowd and lots of energy, and it is going to be a great start to our weekend!

We are looking at an uneasonably warm night Friday, so please plan accordingly.

South Area families. Due to the current heat advisory, South High is moving the start of the varsity football game to 6:30 pm. Our gates will open for fans and spectators at 5:00 p.m. The current forecast has the temperature at kick-off at 96 degrees, with a heat index of 104, so please plan accordingly.

Middle School Student Expectations

We welcome our Junior Patriots to come and enjoy our home football games! If your middle-school plans on attending, please review the following with them:

Middle school-age or younger students will only be admitted if accompanied by their parent or guardian. This will be monitored at the gate. Students are not to bring any football, baseball, or sporting equipment.

An assigned area (the first section of the bleachers off the main gate) will be designated for middle school-age or younger students to sit. If students don't sit in this section, they must sit with their parent or guardian.

Message from Parkway C-2 Schools Athletics Administration:

Open Weight Room starting Today, August 31st for all off season athletes who would like additional training throughout the school year.

Monday - Thursday - 2:35 to 3:30 pm

No transportation provided for county at this time.

5:30 pm buses for county and VICC (3:45 pm also) athletes.
