✨ BIG NEWS, Manchester families! ✨

You asked, and we listened! 🎉

So many of you got a taste of what MIKA's Awesome Dance Academy is all about at the MIKA Academy Awards — and the response has been incredible. We've been hearing it ever since: "When are you bringing dance to Manchester?!"

Well, the wait is over. 🎉

We've been running our dance program out of our Skowhegan studio for a year and a half, and just this past weekend our dancers took the stage at the Skowhegan Opera House for our "Sunshine, Sugar and Celebration" recital — a full showcase of everything this program is about. The talent, the joy, the confidence these kids bring to the floor is something else entirely. ✨

Now we're bringing all of that to Manchester, starting with a 6-Week Summer Dance Session taught by the amazing Miss Stephanie, who brings over 20 years of teaching experience and a whole lot of heart to every single class. 💃

🌟 BEGINNERS ARE 100% WELCOME! 🌟
No prior dance experience needed — not even a little! Whether your child has never danced a day in their life or your teen has been curious about trying something new, we have a class for them. Miss Stephanie meets every dancer right where they are.

⚠️ Heads up — each class is capped at only 12 students and spots are first come, first served. Registration closes July 4th, so don't wait!

School may be winding down… but summer is the PERFECT time to level up your training! 🙌 More free time = more opportunities to stay active, stay disciplined, and keep working toward that next rank. Consistency is what builds confidence and success on the mat! 👊

While our Saturday classes will be taking a break for the summer, we’ve added an EARLIER Friday class — which means students still have FIVE different days each week to choose from to train! 🔥

We are incredibly proud to announce that Kyoshi has officially been inducted into the Isshinryu Hall of Fame! 🥋

He will receive this amazing honor at the IHOF Tournament in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on July 17th & 18th.

MIKA truly would not be what it is today if he hadn’t stepped onto the mat at just 6 years old to begin this journey. Over the past 52 years, he has dedicated his life to Isshinryu Karate — impacting thousands of students, families, instructors, and competitors along the way.

His passion, leadership, and commitment to preserving and growing Isshinryu have built something incredibly special, and this honor is more than well deserved.

We are beyond proud to celebrate this moment. 💙
