Green Mountain Lightning Softball Since we were not town or organization specific, the first team was created by word of mouth through Manchester, Chester, Londonderry, Bennington and Rutland.

Green Mountain Lightning (GML) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was founded to promote and develop the growth of youth softball in Southern Vermont and surrounding towns. We provide local youth with the experience of improving their level of skill in athletics by participating in a higher level of competition within the New England, NY and NJ region. GML was founded in 2015 for the purpose of provid

ing more competitive baseball for kids looking to expand their skills and knowledge of the game by playing at a high level of competition. Most recently GML has included more sports to our organization such as basketball and softball.
