One year teaching our PumpeD Up fitness class at the Manchester Community Library! Join us on Mondays from 9:15am-9:45am. The class is created for those with Parkinson's Disease but open to any with neuromotor challenges. It's the absolute best way to start my week and I'm so proud of this fantastic group of individuals!

A nice article from The Manchester Journal on "PumpeD Up," the exercise class for those with Parkinson's Disease (and other neuromuscular disorders) that I teach at the library! The class is from 9:15am-9:45am on Mondays in the Hunter Room. If you know someone with Parkinson's Disease or who struggles with another form of a neuromuscular condition, please feel free to share this information with them. We are always accepting new attendees!

Are you interested in starting to exercise in 2023? Are you considering working out at home, or wanting a plan that gives you flexibility to workout at the gym around your busy schedule?

We offer individualized workout programs designed around your goals & needs! It can be intimidating to walk into a new gym or start a program in the new year and not know where to start. Let us design you a program so you don't have to think about what you need to do at the gym-- you can just show up and follow a program built uniquely for you.

In 2022 I helped many clients set up workout programs to help them reach success on their fitness journeys. We would come up with a plan together that worked around their goals, injuries or medical conditions, and equipment they had access to (whether at home or the gym). The workout sessions are designed to be manageable, consisting of only 30-50 minute time slots, depending on your preference. Once we went over the exercises and made sure they were executing proper form, they were good to go tackle the program on their own (this takes about 2-4 sessions).

It doesn't have to be crazy intense or 2 hours long! Start slow and be good to your body. Please reach out if you are interested at [email protected]! Put your health first in 2023- you deserve it.

Year 2 of the Holiday Movement Challenge!

Well Built Wellness challenges you to get in 150 minutes per week of aerobic activity for the second year in a row! This includes walking, skiing, snowshoeing, and whatever other activities YOU enjoy doing this holiday season. The challenge begins this week and ends on Saturday January 7th. Using a notebook or the notepad app on your phone, challenge yourself to keep track of each time you exercise, how many minutes you worked for, what activity you performed, and also how you felt afterwards. At the studio, we are keeping track of who accumulates the most minutes for the total 7 weeks, and the top 5 individuals will have their names placed in a hat, and one winner's name will be drawn to win a grand prize.

I hope you can all join in again this year and we can do it even bigger & better! Cheers to a healthy, happy holiday season for all.
