Patrick Yu is back and you know what that means...NO MORE WINS FOR YOU unless you were James Moreland at Mad City Disc Golf Bag Tag League @ Elver on Monday! Patrick is one of the areas top disc golfers and it is a pleasure seeing him (and his skills) at league! He and James torched the Short to Blue layout posting a 40 and took $50 FTW 🏆

Taylor DeBroux on a tear this past week winning Mad City Disc Golf Bag Tag League @ Elver with Wes Kaminsky last Monday then this weekend recording his highest rated tournament round rating at 1018 while also snagging a tournament ACE on his way to another win!

Happy Monday! Let's take a moment and reflect on the accomplishments of last week's undisputed Madison Disc Golfer (and MCDG club member) of the week... Devries!

Aaron kicked off the week winning Mad City Disc Golf Bag Tag League @ Elver with partner Cullen O'Neill.
Follows it up Tuesday with a feat many of us only dream about: TWO ACES in ONE ROUND at Glide Disc Golf Hiestand League.
AND at Piestand on Thursday he earned card burning rights w/Chris Hoelzel!
Just and amazing week for one of our very best disc golfers in town! Congrats Aaron 👏

BAG TAG LEAGUE STARTS MONDAY!

MCDG Bag Tag League - Week 1 (5/4/26) - Short to Blue is a disc golf league event held in Madison, Wisconsin on May 4, 2026 at Elver Park course.

04/16/2026

22 volunteers helped tidy up Elver Saturday morning! Limestone was spread around tees and greens and some new baskets were put together. Many bags of trash were collected.

Course is pretty vulnerable right now to erosion with recent and upcoming rains. Also, its general slope in the northward direction adds to the time it takes to dry out and for the grass to establish. An improved forecast next week is crucial!

Looking forward to a great season at all of our Madison area disc golf courses!
