Join us on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month a little before 6:30 pm for 5 point tournament matches at La Hacienda. You are guaranteed to play two matches. At our weekly tournaments we average around 10 to 12 players. The 3rd and 5th Tuesdays are reserved for special events. Any skill level is welcomed.

Welcome to the Madison Backgammon Club! We are a well-established club that meets every Tuesday night at La Hacienda, 515 S Park St., Madison. The start time is 630 p.m., so be there early to register!

We have three tournaments a month, the 1st, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month, with the 3rd and 5th Tuesdays reserved for special events, chouettes, and just general backgammon chatter.

All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to world be**er, we have an excellent range of players that play regularly with us, so for sure you'll fit right in!

We're a fun and friendly group, so come along, give us a try! Your first tournament entry is free, so there's no reason not to!

Gosh, I think we need an update on the club!!

We are back live and meeting in person once again!

Tuesday nights, 630 start at the Essen Haus. We get a dedicated back room to play in too.

We do require that players have been vaccinated, or wear a mask. Full details available on request

I am very sad to announce the passing of Lee Pflugrad. He was an avid lover of backgammon, and will be missed by all at the Madison Backgammon Club.

Its been a while!

The Madison Backgammon Club continues to hold off on in person club meetings, until such time as the risks associated with Covid-19 are dramatically minimized.

The 2020 Club Championships are officially suspended. There will be no 2020 Club Champion. Points earned earlier this year will not count towards next year's totals. When the club resumes in person events, we will start our championships again.

The Douse Cup will continue as it is.

Madison backgammon club continues to await the slow down of covid-19 before we resume in person club events.

I was holding out a little hope that July might be possible, but now perhaps even August is unlikely, and we are continuing to take a wait and see approach.

In the meantime, there are a number of online events happening regularly. Reach out, and I can get you details!
