Handicap ramp and seating area

We’ve received a lot of questions about our Stick Horse Race rules, so here’s the reason behind them! 🤠

Our goal is to make the Christian Youth Rodeo as inclusive as possible and give as many children as possible the opportunity to participate.

Because Stick Horse Race is designed for our youngest contestants and those who may not have the opportunity to compete in horse-related events, we are only allowing contestants who are NOT entered in Open Barrels, Steer Riding, or Mutton Bustin’ (except Lead Line Barrels).

This helps us open more spots for kids who otherwise wouldn’t get the chance to compete and keeps the event fair and accessible for everyone.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to create the best experience possible for all of our young cowboys and cowgirls!
