BACK TO SCHOOL IS HERE!

New schedules. New routines. Early mornings. Homework. Jobs. Practices. Games. School events. Appointments. And somehow… finding time for family in between it all.

It can feel like there are never enough hours in the day. And sometimes, even when we’re all under the same roof, life is moving so fast that we barely have a moment to actually be together.

That’s why Jaguars isn’t just another thing to add to the calendar.
Tuesdays are 1.5 hours to disconnect from the chaos and plug into community.

Come talk.
Come read.
Come play.
Come color.
Come laugh.
Come simply to be present.

For 90 minutes, we get to quiet the outside world and focus on what’s happening right in front of us — our kids, our community, and the simple joy of being together.

Because sometimes what our families need most isn’t another activity.
It’s a pause.
A place to breathe.
A place to connect.
A place to belong.

Supporters & Donors – Helping Create Opportunities

Every contribution helps create spaces where children can connect, grow, and feel a sense of belonging. Support from our community helps keep programs and events accessible to families. For example, a gift of $25 can help provide supplies such as cones, balls, snacks, and crafts, while $100 can help provide jerseys or shirts for up to 10 youth participants.

Tomorrow, July 7th, we invite our Jaguars family and community members to join us in supporting the students, parents, and neighbors who will be speaking before the Edmonds School Board in support of reinstating the School Resource Officer (SRO) program.

This is **not** a call to return to the past without accountability or reflection.

This is a call to move forward with a better model—one focused on prevention, relationship-building, de-escalation, student support, and school safety.

Across the country, communities are grappling with increasing concerns about youth violence, school threats, mental health crises, and campus safety. Edmonds School District is not immune to these challenges.

We believe meaningful change happens when communities show up, listen well, and work together toward solutions that prioritize the well-being of our youth.
