Tonight we had the privilege of celebrating six students who reached an exciting milestone in their Jiu-Jitsu journey!

- 5 students earned their very first stripe
- 1 student earned her second stripe

The first stripe recognizes consistency, commitment, and putting in the work. The second stripe represents a growing understanding of techniques and concepts and being able to apply what they’re learning on the mats.

We’re so proud of these kids and the work they’ve put in to get here. Watching them learn, work through challenges, and grow in confidence has been so much fun.

Congratulations, guys! We’re proud of you and can’t wait to see you continue to grow and learn!

Wednesday night's classes were a blast!

We welcomed some new faces to kids class, and our adults were introduced to King of the Mat, a new competition designed to help prepare for the upcoming jiu-jitsu tournament later this fall. One athlete starts as the King and faces the next person up. Submit your opponent and you stay King and earn a point; get submitted, and your opponent takes the crown. The competition was fierce!

We’ll see everyone Saturday for Adult Striking at 9:00 AM and Open Mat at 10:00 AM. Come get some rounds in with us, or just come see what we’re all about!

From our littlest grapplers to our grown-ups, there was some great energy on the mats last night!

At Flow State Combat Club, we welcome students of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re looking for a fun activity for your child, a new challenge for yourself, or simply want to learn something new, there’s a place for you on the mats.

Looking for a fun way to get more active?

Maybe you’re looking for a little accountability and community for yourself, or an activity where your child can build confidence, learn to work through challenges, and have fun. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu might be worth a try!

Join us for open mat tomorrow from 10:00–11:00 AM. Come meet the coaches, check out the gym, and see what jiu-jitsu is all about. No experience necessary!

Can’t make it tomorrow? Come try a class anytime! Beginners are always welcome.
