Our salmon season is winding down and August of 2026 will be one to remember! We have a couple of scheduled days off and then hopefully right back to great fishing on Wednesday morning. If you want to fish a prime time morning with us next year we have July 29, August 19, 26 and 29 available.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our annual summer meeting tomorrow at Lake Street Marina. This is a great time to come and see what the Ludington Charter Boat Association is all about. We had a great month of July and the past two weeks have been incredible.

We had a great time fishing with Andy and his friends this morning. They caught some nice fish and enjoyed a gorgeous day on Lake Michigan.

We had some good early July fishing the past few days. Hayden and I got to fish on the Moonlighter on Thursday morning and on Friday morning we fished with the Hansley crew. Yesterday morning we celebrated the 4th of July with our good friend Capt. Aaron and his friend Adam.

We just had a cancellation for July 29. This is a great mid week morning during our prime time! We have some afternoon availability that week as well.

It was all about family fun this week with Hiatus Charters. Al and I celebrated Father’s Day with our boys and we had a great time with Ben and his family on Thursday afternoon. It was their first time on Lake Michigan and they had a lot of fun. I was also able to spend a couple days walleye fishing on the Saginaw Bay out of Linwood. If you are looking for some new walleye rods I would highly recommend the Nova DWTS Telescoping Walleye Trolling Rod. I really like how they perform on the water and that they fit in the rod storage locker in the floor of my Lund.
