Our why…
Here at Acreage Baseball we are all volunteers. This is not a business, it’s a passion. Nurturing your child’s love of the game is our number one goal. We take our roles seriously because this league gives kids a place to belong, learn, and fall in love with the game, without baseball having to become a business.
It keeps the game accessible to the kid picking up a bat for the first time, the kid still developing, and the talented player who simply wants to play with friends in their own community.
This is where many kids learn fundamentals, positions, teamwork, sportsmanship, and how to handle winning and losing. We pride ourselves in keeping baseball affordable and accessible. Families shouldn’t have to spend thousands of dollars for their child to experience organized baseball.
And there’s something special that other baseball programs can’t really duplicate: playing for your community. You’re not just wearing the name of a team, you are representing the place where you live, going to school with the kids you’re playing beside, and growing up together at the same fields.
For Acreage Baseball, the goal isn’t only to develop better baseball players; it’s to create a ballpark and a baseball community kids will remember long after they’ve stopped playing. We love what we do!
