International Working Dog Practices Have Been Designated as UNESCO Cultural Heritage.

Thanks to the significant efforts of Mathias Dögel and the Association for the Promotion of Working Dog Practices, a major milestone has been achieved during a challenging time for the working dog sport. Finally, this practice—lived and nurtured for over 120 years—has received high-level recognition from an official body.

For generations, the bond between humans and dogs, the shared work, training, and living together, has been central to working dog culture. It is a tradition, a mindset, a deep mutual understanding—and now, for a few days, it has officially been recognized as UNESCO Cultural Heritage.

Let’s work together to continue raising awareness and appreciation for working dog practices and our sport within society and politics!

Hi. I am reaching out to my friends as I have a question that I just don't know how to answer. I have former client that I am friendly with, an older woman who just lost her husband. She called me crying because she can't access her business money accounts. It's something her husband always took care of but she doesn't know his passwords and can't get into his computer to find the records. And she just need help in general with the computer.

That's not something I really want to get involved with and I'd like to refer her to somebody but who? She's willing to pay for the help. Social worker?

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Here's a sneak peak of the prizes for the fun and games. We will have musical mats, dumbbell tosses, retrieving contests....

A water pool will be available for the dogs, bring your chairs, shade tarps for your vehicles. Dogs are welcome to be out and responsibly socialize unless there is bite work going on, then they need to be in their vehicles until it is their turn to work.

Please clean up after your dogs. The training field is a no pee/poop zone!

Check your GPS for directions before Saturday. Some GPS apps have trouble finding the facility.
