Our athletes are more than top-notch competitors- they are dedicated members of the community!

Each year, our team volunteers at the Fallasburg Village Celebration as parking hosts. A portion of the proceeds from the day go directly toward athlete expenses and team equipment, helping us continue to grow and compete.

One more Nationals post - the high school high over all, which we were in the top ten until the last round of trap, is determined by the scores of our high school athletes. The main event high over all is determined by both our high school AND middle school athletes. 8th grader Walker Knorr's sporting clays and s***t scores and 7th grader Xander Hadley's trap score helped elevate our team to 35th in the nation.

Remember how Jake and Isaac Johnson were members of the Michigan All State Team for all three disciplines? Well, the Michigan All State s***t team placed first in the nation among 27 states that sent All State teams to Nationals. These five athletes broke 981 out of 1000 s***t targets to be the champions! Members of the All State team are Jacob Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Adam Serne (KC Orange Crushers), Rhys Stewart and Michael Fitzner (Fudd Dusters Shotgun Team - not pictured).

The final results are in. While we didn't place in the top 10 for high schools, we did come in 12th which is very respectable. All of our athletes did tremendously well, and we are very proud of their growth and accomplishments. Nationals is hot. It's humid. It's stormy. Our kids approach every competition with the resilience necessary to do their best. We brought 6 varsity athletes and 4 middle school athletes. Among 303 high school and club teams from 40 states, our Lowell Red Arrows placed 35th in the nation. Only one other Michigan team placed above us (and Ida Trapshooting is a powerhouse team). Our middle school athletes placed 8th out of 92 s***t teams, 22nd out of 102 sporting clays teams, and 29th out of 137 trap teams. Thank you all for your support!

We were the last of the Lowell Red Arrows to pack up and move out of the campground today. Since late last night, I have been working and reworking the numbers and statistics to see if our team will place in the top ten high school HOA teams. We are currently holding on to 8th place. Fingers crossed that we can stay in the top 10!
