Last year for the holidays I felt like adding something to what I brought to the table.

I found a recipe for Apple Tarte Tatin from and thought I'd try it.

I didn't really do very well that first time, as evidenced by the last two pictures.

This year though I paid closer attention to Chef's instructions and it turned out a lot better.

The first 3 pictures show this year's attempt. I'm a lot happier with the outcome.

This past weekend I played in the inaugural Hall of Fame Classic and once again I clearly demonstrated how bad I am at disc golf 🤷‍♂️ That being said I really did enjoy both the courses we played and the company kept. It was nice to see so many faces that I haven't been able to see in quite some time. 🍻 Congratulations to this year's inductees to the Michigan Disc Golf Hall of Fame: Jav Kowalski, Gunar Nollendorfs, Steven Peck and Dave Feldberg ( ). And a huge special thanks to Larry LaBond (2018 inductee) for TD'ing the tournament and for everything he has done for Michigan disc golf over the years.

The last pic shows a hot air balloon that flew right over top of us as we were about to start the 1st round.

What a blast helping out yesterday at Les Fleurs de Fallasburg women's tournament, the 2nd event of the Michigan Women's Series and part of the Women's Global Event. Awesome lunch, awesome TD's, awesome players. They even hooked me up with a 1st place volunteer trophy 🏆 😎. Jen makes all the trophies for her events so I'm pretty stoked to have an OG JenX creation. So you say you like hats? Recently I became aware of a number of collections I have pertaining to disc golf that are not discs. I may have a problem lol. Next week I'll show off another collection of disc golf related items.

This past weekend I played in my final and only 3rd sanctioned tournament of the year. The Tower Open, part of the series and hosted by . It took me a few days to get over how bad I 💩 the 🛏️ in the 1st round. I mean bad, terrible, horrendous! I was able to pull my head out of my butt in the 2nd round for a 902 rating, but the 1st round left me in 4th for the tourney. Although I averaged above my rating for the tournament, it wasn't enough to keep my rating from dropping a couple points at the current update. It still went up for the year though so I won't get too worked up about it. Congratulations to .mccarty.3557 for taking down the W in MA40 and to for another great event! @ Tower Park Disc Golf Course

Here's a picture of a campfire. I'd rather talk about that instead of my round yesterday, lol. Putts and trees. That's what it came down to. I kicked a lot of trees and my putts were just off all day. I'm looking to zero those putts in today. 💪

I had an awesome time this weekend volunteering at the first full event since the Covid-19 shutdown. The Great Lakes Open. What a fantastic job by TD Nacho and asst. TD Jacob ( ). They hooked up the volunteers with lunch and a pretty sweet care package. Not to mention the course looked as good as I've ever seen it. Congrats to and on their wins!
