The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Vocations has two new leaders, as of July 1 — one devoted to cultivating vocations and one who accompanies men in formation to the priesthood.

Father Matthew H. Millay, pastor of the Church of the Ascension, is the director of vocations. In secular terms, he joked, you might call it recruitment.

Father Steven J. Reeves, pastor of St. Lawrence Church and chaplain for Holy Cross High School, is the director of seminarians. His work is primarily devoted to accompanying seminarians through the years of their formation.
