Family Renewal Project sponsored five of our ArchLou seminarians to attend the St Paul Center Seminarian Conference 2026, "Praying from the Heart of the Word: the Psalms". Dr Scott Hahn, Dr John Bergsma and others revealed some of the hidden beauty of the Psalms to our seminarians.

The Knights of Columbus Ave Maria Council #15931 at Our Lady of Lourdes hosted the Louisville seminarians for a Grill and Chill. It was Knights way of showing their appreciation for the seminarians' willingness to answer God's call. It was a great opportunity for the seminarians to meet the Knights and to learn what these men look for in a priest.
Some of their advice
+ Be consistent in your faith and actions
+ Don't expect to be perfect
+ Have a loving heart and a heart for service
+ Be a priest that is "there" for people when they are needed

2025 was the Archdiocese of Louisville's first Quo Vadis Day. Our Seminarians welcomed 25 high-school-aged young men to explore what Catholic vocations (married, priesthood, diaconate, religious life) look like. Many of the seminarians talked about their journey. There was time to get to know one another during lunch and other breaks. The young men also had time to ask God what he wants for them in their life during adoration. The day also included mass, Q&A with Archbishop Fabre, and Q&A with a group of seminarians. JOIN QUO VADIS 2026!
